Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports the Cleveland Browns could be interested in acquiring Seattle Seahawks QB Seneca Wallace, according to a league source. Team president Mike Holmgren gradually developed Wallace as a quarterback while with the Seahawks. The source said Holmgren took great satisfaction in Wallace's progress under center. Wallace, who is under contract through 2010, could be expendable for possibly a mid-round draft pick.

This dosen't suprise me. Holmgren interested in Seneca. Just my gut feeling, but I'm sure Seneca is interested in it as well.

Just puts more emphasis on us getting a QB this year.

We could get a 3rd or 4th pick for Seneca and pick up a veteran QB as a backup (Grossman, Delhomme, etc.) and immediately upgrade at the position!

It would also mean that Hass is safe for another year.
